Small Shop Saturday Spotlight: Little Pear Boutique

This week I’m shining a spotlight on some great, mom-run, small shops in honour of Small Shop Saturday (which is this weekend). There are so many great local shops that make and sell amazing products, I just had to introduce you to them. And the best part about these shops…all the proceeds go to support moms and their family!

The second small shop on my list is the Little Pear Boutique.

My sister-in-law introduced me to both Steph and her business. She got Alexie the cutest pair of slipper booties for Christmas last year and they were honestly one of my favourite gifts Alexie got. They were great around the house where we only have tile and hardwood floors which they are slippery especially for an 18month old who’s only walks when she’s mad or sad (the rest of the times she’s running!). Unfortunately, Alexie has since pretty much outgrown her slippers so hopefully, Santa will bring her some new ones this year.

Small Shop Saturday: Little Pear BoutiqueSteph started sewing as a kid. She has a special little girl in her life (that she can’t share too much about) as well as 4 nieces and a nephew, all under 6 years old. When her little miss entered her life, she made her a quilt and it re-sparked her love of sewing. It wasn’t long after that she started making clothes for babies and toddlers and voila! Little Pear Boutique was born!

Small Shop Saturday: Little Pear BoutiqueBut booties aren’t the only thing that you’ll find at the Little Pear boutique. She also sews beautiful tunics, dresses, hats, rompers. All of her stuff is custom made and she has beautiful one-of-a-kind pieces too. One of the coolest things she sells “grow-with-me” clothes. Pants and shirt-dresses that fit from 12 months all the way up to a 3T. It’s really a great investment piece since they really do last for years, which is rare in kids clothes. Alexie rocks this “grow-with-me” tunic and it honestly has room for her to grow! The hem and cuffs can be rolled up easily for smaller children and then unrolled as the child grows! It’s really a great design!

Want to get some amazing clothes from Little Pear Boutique?

The best place to find Steph and her boutique is on Facebook. She posts all her products and it’s the best place to see her newest designs and prints.
